Durex is joining forces with the Global Fund to fight AIDS in South Africa where it is estimated that around 7.2 million people are currently living with HIV or AIDS. Together we can raise awareness and vital funds to make a difference and help empower young women and girls to live a happy, healthy life.

    • Founded in 2002, the Global Fund partnership model is designed to promote innovative solutions to global health challenges such as AIDS
    • Since inception, the Global Fund supported programs have saved 27 million lives
  • THE GLOBAL FUND AND (DUREX)

    • As part of its commitment to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa, Durex has partnered with (RED), a global non-profit organisation committed to ending the HIV/AIDS pandemic
    • (DUREX) partnership commits to donating at least £5 million for the Global Fund to fight AIDS in Africa
    • The donation will be match-funded by the Gates Foundation, creating a total £10 million raised (minimum) to fight AIDS – 100% of the money raised will go to work on the ground in fighting HIV/AIDS in Africa
    • A percentage of funds raised by (DUREX) partnership will go to The Keeping Girls in School Programme in South Africa
